Weapons against ignorance

In winter 2025, I worked on a submission for the D&AD New Blood competition. The brief: create a campaign for Monotype, the iconic font foundry, centered around liberty and freedom. Our response was a bold challenge to censorship, grounded in the idea that every banned book begins with the same 26 letters.

In partnership with Little Free Library, we created a poster series and community activations to promote intellectual freedom, amplify diverse voices, and confront the rising tide of censorship through the power of type.

Because type is never just type. It’s the foundation of stories, resistance, and change. And really, what’s so dangerous about 26 letters?
